HBG Big News This Week: June 18-22, 2018

Bestsellers: HBG has 18 titles on the New York Times Bestseller list dated July 1, including three #1s—The President is Missing by Bill Clinton & James Patterson (Little, Brown & Knopf) holds on to the #1 slot on both Print Hardcover/Fiction & Combined Print & Ebook Bestsellers lists. Calypso by David Sedaris (Little, Brown) remains in the #1 slot on the Print Hardcover/ Nonfiction list. HBG also has 14 titles on the USA Today bestseller list 

Media blitz: Malcolm Nance’s The Plot to Destroy Democracy (Hachette Books) goes on sale next week, with a great media lineup including appearances on MSNBC’s All in with Chris Hayes, Morning Joe, Andrea Mitchell Reports, Hardball with Chris Matthews, The Eleventh Hour with Brian Williams, AM Joy, MSNBC Live with Ali Velshi, and MSNBC LIVE with Stephanie Ruhle; Sirius SM Radio’s Karen Hunter Show, Make it Plain with Mark Thompson, and Laura Coates; Bloomberg News, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal and After Words, and HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.

Amazon’s Best Books so far: Amazon released their Best Books of the Year So Far list, and our books (and our client publishers’) appear in every category, including Madeline Miller’s Circe (Little, Brown) on the Top 20 Picks list, and Peter Brown’s The Wild Robot Escapes (LBYR) on the Top 20 Children’s Picks.
